Skate Park Recreation Instructor (Part-Time, Temporary) Campbell, CA Job Details Temporary | Seasonal $17.00

Private lessons are scheduled based on staff and facility availability. All classes, camps and private lessons will be held at the Campbell Community Center Skate Park.

Weekends, ~3-5 hours a weekClasses run September through June on Sundays from 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Supervise and teach skateboarding skills to different ages and ability levels in a group settingCreate appropriate lesson plans for each session/skill levelAbility to communicate and demonstrate skills to participantsAbility to motivate and educate varying ages and abilities with the basic skills and techniques of skateboardingMaintain open communication with Recreation Coordinator and Supervisor about weekly programmingMaintain cleanliness of Skate Park before and after instruction allowing safe use of the facilityAdditional responsibilities as neededSUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

SELECTION
PROCESSThe most qualified applicants as determined by initial screening of applications will be invited to participate in an interview and lifeguard skills practical testing. Selections will be made from the results of the interviews and skills testing. Tuberculosis test results must be submitted prior to scheduled employment.
