A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

What You'll Own Evaluate New Members:
Assess posture, range of motion, functional fitness, balance, and strength.
Design Custom Plans:
Build and implement individualized fitness programs based on each Member's starting point and goals.
Lead Sessions:
Run Semi-Private workouts and Group classes with energy and expertise.
Coach & Motivate:
Set goals, inspire Members, and track their progress every step of the way.
Create Community:
Foster an atmosphere of support, camaraderie, and fun—while keeping our space safe and clean.
Deliver Exceptional Service:
Build trust, answer questions, and maintain a loyal client roster. What You've Got to
Have Fitness Expertise:
Strong grasp of exercise science and technique.
Experience:
1-2 years of personal training experience.
Certifications:
At least one nationally accredited personal trainer credential (NASM, ISSA, etc). A degree in kinesiology, exercise physiology, or sports medicine strongly preferred. CPR/AED preferred (or completed within 3 months).
Program Design:
Demonstrated ability to create effective, personalized workouts.
