Job Description
Group Fitness Trainer - BÜNDA Costa Mesa BÜNDA Costa Mesa is a boutique fitness studio delivering a results-driven group training experience that blends strength training with StairMaster-based steady-state cardio. We're looking for motivated, knowledgeable Group Fitness Trainers who are passionate about coaching, community, and helping members see real progress. As a BÜNDA Trainer, you'll coach pre-programmed workouts rooted in progressive overload and intelligent conditioning — while delivering a high-energy, personal-training-style experience in a group setting. What You'll Do
- Lead and motivate members through BÜNDA's pre-programmed strength and cardio workouts.
- Coach proper form, cue progressions and regressions, and ensure a safe, effective training environment.
- Deliver an engaging, high-energy class experience while maintaining coaching precision.
- Build positive relationships with members before, during, and after class.
- Support a personalized onboarding experience by helping new members feel confident and supported.
- Provide excellent customer service by attentively listening to members and addressing concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized studio environment before and after each class.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes and team meetings.
- Use current, appropriate music playlists that match the energy of the workout.
- Be a collaborative, supportive team player who contributes to a positive studio culture. What We're Looking For
Certification:
Certified Personal Trainer through an accredited organization (ACE, NASM, NSCA, or IDEA).Safety:
AED/CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start date).Knowledge:
Intermediate understanding of training principles including progressive overload and steady-state cardio.Physical:
Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.Presence:
Strong communication and coaching presence in a group setting.Professionalism:
Reliable, punctual, and professional.Availability:
Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.Experience:
Previous group fitness experience preferred (but not required for strong coaches). Training & Development- Completion of BÜNDA's online and in-person training program.
