Job Description
Toscana Country Club has seasonal (November-May) part time openings for Reformer Pilate Instructors at Toscana Country Club, a private equity golf club and luxury residential community located in Indian Wells, California. As the energetic social hub of the Toscana Community, the country club offers a truly private setting where members will enjoy camaraderie, relaxation and sport with friends and family, and an incomparable level of attention and service from our staff. The community features two 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses, a 90,000-square-foot Club Villa featuring an exceptional array of private club and spa and sport club amenities. This position is responsible for planning and conducting results-oriented exercise classes for Members. This individual provides leadership and guidance in the classroom through attentiveness to each Members exercise needs. Reports directly to the Fitness Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following:- Performs fitness assessments using standard protocols in endurance testing and blood pressure, resting heart rate, body composition, muscle endurance, muscle strength and flexibility.
- Interprets fitness assessments, health histories, and activity schedules; consults with members in each of these areas to establish personal fitness programs.
- Report any injuries or limitations during training that cause concern to management.
- Trains in the areas of flexibility, strength training, aerobic conditioning and fitness assessments and strength training.
- Monitors fitness center; assists members with proper techniques, answers questions and provides information about health promotion and fitness.
- Oversees general equipment and condition of room and report items to Director needing to be addressed.
- Enforces condition of room policies and procedures to members
- Maintain a positive, upbeat role, promote and exemplify Company values and represents departmental objectives and interests to internal and external customers
- In depth knowledge of all Sports services with general knowledge of spa menu and up selling ability.

- Follow up on complaints, questions, and concerns; respond to internal/external customer needs in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree in Exercise Science or related field. Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
