The ideal candidate is passionate about promoting health, balance, flexibility, and mindfulness through Tai Chi while creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment. This is a Part-Time position. Key Responsibilities Plan and lead Tai Chi classes for beginners through advanced students. Demonstrate proper Tai Chi techniques, movements, and breathing exercises. Modify instruction to accommodate participants with different physical abilities and fitness levels. Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere. Monitor participants' progress and provide individualized feedback. Ensure all equipment and practice spaces are clean, organized, and safe. Educate participants on the health and wellness benefits of Tai Chi. Maintain attendance records and communicate class updates as needed. Follow organizational policies and safety procedures. Qualifications Certification or formal training in Tai Chi from a recognized organization or instructor. Previous experience teaching Tai Chi in community centers, fitness facilities, wellness programs, or similar settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage participants of all ages and abilities. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification (preferred or required). Reliable, punctual, and professional. Preferred Skills Experience working with seniors, rehabilitation clients, or individuals with limited mobility. Knowledge of Tai Chi philosophy, meditation, and wellness practices. Ability to teach group and private sessions. Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
