We're looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable Personal Trainer who is passionate about helping others build confidence, improve their health and reach their goals. What You'll Do As a Personal Trainer, you'll empower members by providing individualized exercise programming and coaching that helps them safely achieve their health and fitness goals.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions. Perform fitness assessments and reassessments. Design safe, individualized exercise programs. Teach small group training and group fitness classes as assigned. Coach, motivate and educate members throughout their wellness journey. Provide equipment orientations and promote safe exercise techniques. Maintain accurate client documentation in accordance with Medical Fitness Association standards. Collaborate with fellow fitness professionals to deliver an exceptional member experience. Participate in community outreach, workshops and wellness events. Represent BCHD's mission, vision and core values in every interaction. What We're Looking For You are someone who: Is passionate about helping others improve their health and quality of life. Minimum Qualifications Current NASM or ACSM Personal Trainer certification (required) Current CPR/AED certification Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Promotion or a related field preferred (relevant experience may be considered) Experience conducting fitness assessments and developing individualized exercise programs One year of personal training or fitness instruction experience preferred Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Why Join BCHD?
