This role combines a passion for health and fitness with strong business acumen to drive growth, foster a motivating environment, and ensure the delivery of personalized, results-driven training experiences. The ideal candidate will inspire both staff and clients, promote a culture of excellence, and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism within our dynamic health club setting. Responsibilities Lead and manage the personal training department, setting clear goals and motivating trainers to achieve peak performance Develop innovative, personalized workout plans tailored to individual client needs, incorporating biomechanics, physiology, and body mechanics principles Oversee client onboarding processes, building strong rapport and ensuring exceptional customer service to foster long-term loyalty Conduct regular staff training sessions on coaching techniques, program design, nutrition guidance, manual handling, heavy lifting safety, and emergency procedures including CPR and AED operation Drive fitness sales by promoting personal training packages and membership programs while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and retention Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by implementing proper first aid procedures, liability insurance protocols, and adherence to industry standards Monitor industry trends in sports coaching, fitness industry best practices, and new program development to keep offerings innovative and engaging Requirements Proven experience in sports coaching with a strong background in biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics Extensive personal training experience within a health club or gym environment with demonstrated success in program design and client coaching Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, first aid, and liability insurance coverage required Knowledge of nutrition principles relevant to fitness clients and the ability to incorporate them into personalized plans Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and motivate diverse populations Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of personal trainers or fitness coaches Familiarity with fitness sales strategies and customer service excellence in a gym or health club setting Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while demonstrating proper manual handling techniques during training sessions Experience teaching physical education or coaching in sports settings is highly desirable Want to join a growing, successful company where your talents, initiative and integrity will be rewarded?
