Who You Are:

As a Mayweather Boxing + Fitness Full-Time Coach, you are dynamic and positive. Excited about the opportunity to affect the lives of studio members and staff daily! You will be an integral part of a small team of coaches to deliver time-condensed workouts and provide best-in-class member experiences. Join our dynamic team that positively affects the lives of studio members and staff on a daily basis!

A day in the life:
  • Administer InBody evaluations and boxing fitness personal training sessions.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of service according to company standards and "go the extra mile" to provide a positive and energetic environment for members.
  • Provide a high level of personalized attention to members.
  • Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs, and products.
  • Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving weight up to 50 pounds.
  • Adjust and operate all boxing and Fitness Equipment to Mayweather Boxing + Fitness standards.
  • Accurately follow the daily studio checklist (pre/during/post) shift activities.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Attend all coach-related meetings/trainings and team meetings.
Requirements:
  • Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification a plus.
  • CPR/AED certification (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of previous Personal Training experience (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess honesty and personal integrity.
  • Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry.
  • Excel in time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Reliable, professional, computer literate and tech savvy, energetic, and friendly.
  • Must be able to maintain a regular and predictable schedule.
  • Willing and able to work some nights, and occasional weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to take 1-2 boxing fitness sessions per week to effectively describe the workout to members.
  • Must be 18 or older.

Coaching 1-on-1

Sessions:

Coaches can conduct 1-on-1 sessions with members. Nationally certified coaches can lead full 60-minute sessions, while those with a boxing background but without certification can conduct 30-minute mitt work sessions. Compensation for 1-on-1 sessions includes a 10% commission on the total package sale upfront and then 50% of the session rate when the session is rendered.

Essential Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching, as well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time.
