We are looking for a passionate Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer to join our team in Ventura! In this role, you will lead dynamic small group training classes, connect deeply with our community, and ensure a safe, immaculate environment for our members. If you have deep knowledge of human movement and a high-energy personality that brightens up the room, we want to hear from you!
Core Responsibilities Class Leadership:
Greet every member warmly as they arrive, lead a dynamic group warm-up and stretch, and guide participants through the workout.
Safety & Form:
Actively monitor members during class to ensure perfect form, prevent injuries, and keep the workout floor completely free of trip hazards.
Demonstrated Ability:
Teach a variety of exercise routines effectively across multiple disciplines including yoga, Pilates, circuit training, kick boxing, general sports coaching (on the job training available for some class types)
Setup & Breakdown:
Prepare the training floor and organize equipment before small group sessions begin.
Facility Care:
Clean and thoroughly wipe down all equipment before and after classes.
Security:
Ensure the facility is spotlessly clean, fully secure, before finishing your class(es) and leaving.
Requirements Availability:
Must be fully available for evening classes between 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
Certifications:
Valid, current Fitness Training or Group Instructor Certification.
Safety:
Valid, current CPR/AED & First Aid certification.

Solid knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and functional movement patterns.
Excellent client communication skills:
A motivational coaching style that inspires confidence and engagement. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely: Demonstrating proper manual handling techniques. And mid to heavy lifting for setup and take down for classes Experience working in health clubs or gym environments is preferred; familiarity with fitness sales and customer service is a plus. Will train the right person if you have people & training skills
