Responsibilities Lead group fitness classes tailored to children and teenagers, incorporating activities such as body mechanics, speed and agility, flexibility, nutrition education, leadership coaching, and resistance and weight training routines. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, ensuring safety and effective practice for all participants Execute our age-appropriate fitness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular health Motivate young participants through energetic coaching, fostering a supportive environment that encourages effort and achievement Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including manual handling and heavy lifting techniques when necessary Maintain equipment hygiene and safety standards; operate gym equipment safely Communicate effectively with students, school faculty and staff, parents and guardians about program progress and individual needs Requirements Proven experience in fitness industry roles such as personal training, group fitness instruction, or sports coaching with a focus on youth programs Certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid are essential; AED operation certification is preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, body mechanics, and health club safety standards Skilled in teaching exercise routines across various disciplines Ability to motivate children and teens while maintaining a lively and positive coaching style Excellent communication skills to engage with young clients effectively and professionally Physical fitness training experience involving heavy lifting or manual handling is advantageous Knowledge of fitness sales or customer service within a gym or health club setting is a plus Embark on this rewarding journey to shape healthier futures!
