We work to create a sense of community and support through our services, resourcing, an genuine connection to those that come through our doors. Our hope is to have a lasting postive impact on the community around us and to become more compasstionate, empathetic, and well.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct yoga classes for individuals or groups, ensuring a safe and positive environment
  • Comfortable in building community and cultivating relationships with students
  • Develop and implement yoga programs tailored to the needs and goals of students
  • Ethically communicate about and offer hands on adjustments
  • Offer modifications and variations of poses to accommodate different skill levels
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yoga studio or practice area
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Yoga Teacher
  • Knowledge of personal training is a plus
  • Strong understanding of Vinyasa, Yin, restorative
  • 500 hour certification is a plus
Skills:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively instruct and guide participants
  • Ability to create a positive and motivating atmosphere during classes
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with participants and address their individual needs
  • Good organizational skills to plan and prepare for each class session
  • Creativity in designing sequences and incorporating different styles of yoga
