We're not looking for someone who can simply teach a class. We're looking for a expert in Pilates rehab, corrective movement, or functional strength . Someone who notices the compensation. Who knows when an exercise is too hard. Who understands that foundations never get old. And who believes quality of movement will always matter more than quantity. Empower PT & Pilates is expanding into a brand-new, larger space, and we're building our Pilates + movement program in a BIG way. Our clients are primarily women, including postpartum and middle-aged women, who want to get stronger, feel capable in their bodies, and stay active without constantly getting hurt by their workouts. This is Pilates-inspired movement, functional strength, and rehab principles, with a much higher standard for coaching. What you'll do Teach Pilates-inspired and functional strength classes throughout the week Build a private-session caseload alongside your classes Build and evolve programming according to our methodology Coach clients with highly specific, form-focused cueing Recognize compensations and movement limitations Provide appropriate regressions and progressions Know when someone needs to master the basics before moving forward Develop a following and become known for your expertise Collaborate with our physical therapy team Help us grow the Pilates + movement side of the business This is not a "teach two classes and run to your next job" position. We want to build your schedule into a full-time career with a combination of classes and private sessions.
Our movement standard:
We are obsessed with quality over quantity. We don't want generic fitness cueing or "push through it" mentality. We want controlled, intentional movement. We want foundational patterns mastered before adding complexity. We want intelligent modifications. We want progressive loading that actually makes sense for the person in front of you. And we want you to understand why you're coaching something, not just tell someone what to do. If you notice poor mechanics that other instructors miss, we want you. You don't need every certification under the sun.
We strongly value training in:
Pilates Personal training / functional fitness Corrective exercise Pelvic floor Prenatal/postpartum Women's health Rehabilitation or movement science But certifications aren't everything. We're open to someone with a strong movement foundation and the rehab mindset, judgment, curiosity, and humility to be coached into our methodology. You'll thrive here if you: Are form-obsessed in the best possible way Notice small movement compensations Would rather teach 5 beautiful reps than 20 sloppy ones Understand that foundations never get old Know how to modify without making a client feel like they've failed Understand progressive loading Love working one-on-one with clients Want to build relationships—not just fill an hour Take ownership and communicate well Want mentorship while still having autonomy Want to keep growing Want a career home , not five different fitness jobs Why Empower? You'll get the best of both worlds: Autonomy + mentorship. You'll have freedom to own your classes and programming while collaborating with physical therapists who understand rehabilitation and movement. You'll have the opportunity to: Build a full-time W2 career Build a private client caseload Develop a following and become an expert in your craft Help grow our Pilates + movement program Receive clinical mentorship and collaboration Work a flexible schedule of classes + private sessions Be part of an exceptional, growing team Enjoy wellness benefits including sauna, regenerative therapies, and classes Follow a real growth path within Empower Our values: BELIEVE in what we do. LEAD yourself and others.
ALWAYS BE GROWING.
We're looking for the person we can eventually trust with any client who walks through our doors because we know you won't cut corners on form, rush progression, or skip the foundations. Ready to apply? Send us an email to hiring@empowerptpilates.
