Job Description

YogaSpark, which has been serving up hot power yoga to the Mamaroneck community and beyond for 13 years, and which just opened a new location in Tuckahoe, NY is expanding to Connecticut! We are seeking kickass power yoga teachers to join our new Darien, CT team! We are anticipating opening this studio in early-mid January 2027. We are looking for teachers to sub / teach all class times (early/mid-morning, midday, evening and weekend morning and afternoons). Together, we will be building a community that is loyal, fierce, and loves to work hard and be challenged - mentally and physically. If you are a power yoga instructor who teaches killer classes, loves music of all genres, and loves helping yogis fire up their practices, please apply for this position. Of course, once you're in the Spark Fam, opportunities to teach in other locations will be available.
Please note:
in order to make the practice as accessible as possible, we ask new teachers to: 1) teach classes in line with our sequencing guidelines which we will share with you in advance, 2) limit inversions (handstands/headstands/forearm stand, though all other arm balances are welcome and encouraged), 3) limit use of sanskrit in teaching.
Our process is as follows:
quick phone call with our owner to determine if this is a good fit. We may ask you to take some classes at the studio (on us, of course!) one hour Zoom demo 1x1 one hour community class in either our Mamaroneck or Tuckahoe studio If interested, please respond to this ad with a brief paragraph about you and your teaching along with your resume. Our Owner, Lauren Porat, will touch base shortly. We hope to see you at the Spark!
