Job Description

Summary NOTA Fitness is currently seeking experienced Yoga Instructors to support our health and fitness promotion services both virtually and in-person in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. Join our team as a Yoga Instructor to lead invigorating and inspiring yoga classes. If you are passionate about yoga and helping others achieve their wellness goals, we want to hear from you. Job Specific Duties And Responsibilities Service Operations Instruct, create and deliver well-structured, educational, and motivating sessions at various intensity levels (low-high) for participants of varying skill levels (beginner to advanced) Provide clear instructions and demonstrations while ensuring proper alignment and technique Maintain a clean and organized yoga studio environment Administrative Arrive 15-30 minutes prior to class start time. When a sub is needed, notify your manager as soon as possible. Report attendance numbers as requested. Assist with the completion of safety event forms should there be an unusual incident. Customer Service Provide high quality customer service to patrons. Manage customer/agency complaints professionally. Elevate concerns to your NOTA contact.
Required Skills Minimum Requirements/Knowledge/Skills:
Must demonstrate proficiency in yoga/group fitness instruction. Must possess excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Required Experience Minimum Education Requirements/Certification/Licensure/Experience:
Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification Preferred with national certification in group fitness, but not required Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching yoga Current CPR/AED certification. This position is part-time and on-call.
