The Pilates Reformer Instructor will provide high-quality, personalized Pilates instruction to our members in a professional, welcoming, and luxury club environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about Pilates, committed to member satisfaction, and able to create engaging and safe sessions for clients of varying fitness levels and abilities.
ESSENTIAL 1099 JOB REQUIREMENTS
include the following. Conduct safe, effective, and engaging private and/or group Pilates Reformer sessions. Develop individualized workouts based on each member's goals, fitness level, experience, and physical limitations. Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, corrections, and modifications throughout each session. Maintain a professional, positive, and welcoming relationship with members. Create a personalized experience consistent with the standards and atmosphere of a luxury private club. Ensure proper use of Pilates Reformer equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment. Comply with applicable club safety, facility, member-service, and security requirements while providing services at the Club. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled client sessions accepted by the contractor. Communicate professionally with members, Fitness & Wellness leadership, and other club staff. Encourage members to maintain consistency with their Pilates practice and support their overall wellness goals. Maintain appropriate client/session records necessary for the safe and professional delivery of services. Report equipment concerns, safety issues, or maintenance needs promptly. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR - 1099
This position is an independent contractor opportunity. The Pilates Instructor is responsible for maintaining their own professional certifications, insurance, taxes, and other obligations associated with independent contractor status. Also, the contractor is responsible for their own business expenses and equipment/materials.
EDUCATION AND WORK REQUIREMENTS
Current and recognized Pilates Reformer certification from an established Pilates education organization. Previous experience teaching Reformer Pilates in a private studio, fitness facility, spa, health club, or country club preferred. Current CPR/AED certification. Strong knowledge of Pilates principles, anatomy, movement, and exercise modifications. Ability to work with beginners through advanced participants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strong customer-service skills and attention to detail. Ability to create a personalized, high-end member experience. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Ability to work independently as an independent contractor.
