Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Certified Personal Trainer to join our dynamic fitness team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering personalized workout programs, motivating clients to achieve their health and fitness goals, and providing expert guidance on biomechanics, physiology, and nutrition. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fitness industry practices, excellent client communication skills, and a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to determine clients' needs, goals, and physical capabilities. Create customized workout plans tailored to individual client requirements, considering biomechanics, body mechanics, and physiology. Deliver engaging coaching sessions that motivate clients and ensure proper exercise technique. Educate clients on nutrition, injury prevention, and safe manual handling practices. Maintain detailed records of client progress and adjust programs accordingly. Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, support, and encouragement. Promote fitness services and programs to attract new clients while maintaining high standards of customer service. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions, including CPR and AED operation when necessary. Stay informed about industry trends, certifications, and best practices to continuously enhance service quality. Requirements Proven experience in personal training, sports coaching, or teaching physical education within the fitness industry. Certification as a Personal Trainer from a recognized organization; CPR and AED certification required. Knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics essential for effective program design. Experience with fitness sales and customer service to build rapport with diverse clientele. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and demonstrate proper manual handling techniques. Familiarity with health club operations, gym equipment use, and fitness industry standards. Strong communication skills to effectively motivate clients and explain complex concepts clearly. First aid training with the ability to respond promptly in emergency situations. Knowledge of nutrition principles relevant to fitness training is advantageous. Valid liability insurance coverage is preferred or required for professional practice.
