Position:

Yoga Instructor - Independent Contractor Timuquana Country Club is seeking an experienced and engaging Yoga Instructor to provide group and individual yoga instruction for our members on an independent contractor basis. This is an opportunity to work in a private club environment with members of varying ages, abilities, and experience levels. The ideal instructor will create a welcoming, safe, and professional class experience while providing instruction and modifications appropriate for each participant.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Lead safe, engaging, and effective group yoga classes. Provide appropriate instruction, modifications, and progressions for varying fitness and experience levels. Provide private or semi-private yoga sessions as requested. Create a welcoming and professional class environment. Collaborate with the fitness team on programming, scheduling, and member engagement. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current yoga instructor certification from a recognized program; CPR/AED certified or willingness to obtain. Previous experience teaching yoga in a group or private setting preferred. Ability to safely instruct and modify poses for varying ages, abilities, and experience levels. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, dependable, and member-focused. Must maintain General Liability Insurance. Candidate will enter into an independent contractor agreement with the Club.

COMPENSATION

$50+ per group class, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation for private or semi-private instruction will be discussed based on programming.
