Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Personal Trainer /Physical Therapy Tech to join our team. As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing personalized fitness programs for clients based on their individual goals and needs. You will provide guidance, support, and motivation to help clients achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall health and well-being.Duties:
- Conduct fitness assessments to determine clients' current fitness levels, goals, and any limitations or health concerns
- Develop customized workout plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals
- Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques to ensure clients perform exercises safely and effectively
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and motivation to clients throughout their fitness journey
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their workout plans as needed
- Educate clients on proper nutrition, hydration, and lifestyle habits to enhance their overall fitness results
- Maintain accurate records of client progress, including measurements, weight, and exercise performance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in the field of personal training
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy
- Proficient in program design and exercise prescription
- Excellent understanding of body mechanics and proper form during exercises
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and provide clear instructions
- Experience in fitness sales or the ability to promote personal training services
- Knowledge of sports coaching techniques for individual or group fitness sessions
- Familiarity with group fitness classes and the ability to lead engaging workouts
Requirements:
- Certification in personal training from a recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM)
- CPR/AED certification
- Previous experience as a personal trainer is preferred but not required Physical Therapy Technician Duties and Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in implementing patient care plans and treatments Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to ensure patient safety Prepare examination and treatment areas Administer treatments and exercises as prescribed by the physical therapist Document patient information and progress Educate patients and family members on how to properly use treatment equipment Monitor patients during treatments and exercises Provide patient care as directed by the physical therapist Ensure that equipment and supplies are properly maintained and organized Physical Therapy Technician Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Able to work with a variety of patients and medical professionals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to lift up to 20 pounds Able to stand for extended periods of time
