Job Description
A premier private tennis club in Pinecrest, Florida, is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Fitness Director / Personal Trainer to oversee the Club's fitness program and provide professional training services to our private membership. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated fitness professional who enjoys working with adults and children in an active, member-focused club environment. The position is expected to be filled by August 1, 2026. Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop the Club's fitness and personal training programs
- Conduct private and group fitness training sessions for adult and junior members
- Develop safe, effective, and personalized fitness programs based on each member's goals and abilities
- Lead fitness classes, conditioning sessions, and sports-performance programs
- Provide instruction in proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, flexibility, strength, and overall fitness
- Create fitness and conditioning programs designed for tennis players and other active individuals
- Build participation in the Club's private training and group fitness offerings
- Maintain professional, positive, and welcoming relationships with members
- Ensure all fitness areas and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized manner Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, Sports Performance, or a related field
- Nationally recognized personal training or fitness certification preferred
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Previous professional experience providing fitness training to both adults and children
- Experience developing individualized training programs and group fitness classes
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and a commitment to providing exceptional member service Compensation This is a full-time position with a compensation package expected to exceed $100,000 annually, consisting of a base salary plus a percentage of private training sessions and fitness classes.
