Strong understanding of proper exercise techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Ability to safely instruct and demonstrate the use of selectorized equipment, free weights, functional training equipment, and cardiovascular machines. Experience creating individualized fitness programs for members of varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels. Knowledge of injury prevention, exercise modifications, and progression techniques. Ability to motivate, educate, and build lasting relationships with members while delivering exceptional customer service. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. Job Summary The Personal Trainer is responsible for providing exceptional one-on-one and small group fitness instruction while creating a welcoming, motivating, and safe environment for members and guests. This position designs customized exercise programs based on individual goals, fitness assessments, and health histories while ensuring proper technique and safe equipment usage. As a representative of The Lodge & Club, the Personal Trainer delivers personalized service that reflects our luxury hospitality standards by building strong member relationships, anticipating wellness needs, and creating memorable fitness experiences. This role also assists with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the fitness center, promotes wellness programs and personal training services, and supports front desk operations as needed. Qualifications Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, or equivalent) required. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. Minimum of two (2) years of personal training experience preferred. Experience working in a luxury club, resort, hotel, or fitness facility is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills. Ability to build rapport with members while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Schedule Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
