Job Description

LuminaFit is seeking an energetic, dependable, and engaging Group Fitness Instructor to join our growing team in Downtown Winder, GA. We're looking for instructors who are passionate about movement, enjoy connecting with people, and can create fun, motivating, and welcoming group fitness experiences. We welcome instructors from a variety of fitness backgrounds and are especially interested in candidates who are comfortable teaching multiple formats.
Responsibilities:
Lead safe, engaging, and motivating group fitness classes Provide clear demonstrations, instruction, and modifications for different fitness levels Create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive class environment Encourage proper form, technique, and safe movement Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes Build relationships with members and help grow your class community Follow LuminaFit class-format, safety, opening/closing, and studio standards Assist with occasional studio events, workshops, community classes, and special programming
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous group fitness, personal training, dance, or fitness instruction experience preferred Group fitness or specialty-format certification preferred CPR/AED certification preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Positive, professional, dependable, and comfortable leading groups Ability to provide modifications for different fitness levels and abilities Morning, evening, and/or weekend availability Experience teaching more than one class format is a plus We are interested in instructors with experience in formats including strength training, dance fitness, Pilates, barre, yoga, mobility/stretching, conditioning, and other group fitness styles . This is a part-time independent-contractor instructor position with flexible scheduling and opportunities to teach the class formats you are most passionate about. At LuminaFit, we're more than a fitness studio—we're building a family. Our instructors have opportunities to grow with the studio, build their own class communities, enjoy flexibility with scheduling and class formats, and earn additional incentives and bonuses as their classes grow.
Pay:
$18.00 - $38.00 per hour
