• Maui Powerhouse Gym and The Studio Maui are in search of outstanding talent to join our expanding team of group fitness instructors.

We're looking for individuals who bring not just skill, but enthusiasm, creativity, and a sincere desire to make an impact on the lives of others through movement, music, and community.

Specialties:

Mat Pilates, sculpt, HIIT, sculpt and others.

Please note:

We are not hiring for Zumba classes. We welcome a range of experience levels for fitness instruction , from deeply experienced professionals to those who are brand new but ready to commit and grow. For group fitness instruction , we are primarily seeking seasoned, NASM or ISSA certified instructors who not only excel in class delivery but also understand the importance of marketing, client engagement, and community-building.

Established instructors:

If you already have experience and a confident presence on the mic, we'd love to see your work. Bring us your vibe, your voice, and your vision—we're open to innovation and love instructors who have cultivated a following.

Developing instructors:

Perhaps you've taught a few classes or served as a substitute and want to take it further. We can help you polish your delivery, structure more effective programming, and find your rhythm as a coach and motivator.

Aspiring instructors:

If you have no formal experience but possess exceptional energy, teachability, and presence, we welcome your application through our mentorship track. With a four-month commitment and a hunger to learn, we'll provide the training and structure you need to grow into a confident, capable instructor. We are currently prioritizing instructors who are available for weekday mornings , weekday evenings , and weekend mornings typically with a start time between 5AM and 11AM and 5pm and 7pm . COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

Instructor compensation is based on a sliding scale, with rates influenced by several factors including: The type of class and specialized training Class attendance and retention We recognize and reward those who consistently deliver high-quality classes and demonstrate initiative in cultivating a loyal following. Instructors are given a reduced rate gym membership if they teach more than two classes per week. We are looking for individuals who are committed to community building and making an impact.•
