Overview Join our vibrant fitness community as a passionate and energetic Barre / Pilates Instructor! In this role, you will inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals through expertly designed exercise routines that blend strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Your enthusiasm and motivational coaching will create a welcoming environment where members feel empowered, challenged, and motivated to push their limits. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise in group fitness classes while fostering a positive and energetic atmosphere that encourages personal growth and wellness. Responsibilities Lead engaging and dynamic group fitness classes in Barre (or Mat Pilates) and other related disciplines, ensuring proper technique and safety. Demonstrate exercises clearly, providing modifications to accommodate all fitness levels while maintaining high energy and motivation. Design effective workout programs tailored to diverse client needs, focusing on body mechanics, biomechanics, and physiology principles. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, understanding their goals, and offering personalized guidance. Ensure safety protocols are followed during classes, including manual handling techniques and emergency procedures such as CPR and AED operation. Maintain a clean, organized studio environment and ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly. Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training in fitness industry best practices, anatomy knowledge, sports coaching, and program design. Qualifications Proven experience in group fitness instruction with certifications in Mat Pilates or Barre (if you have another certification , we will pay for your Barre certification) Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics to ensure safe exercise execution. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation required; first aid certification is a plus. Demonstrated ability to motivate clients through coaching techniques tailored to individual needs. Experience with choreography, dancing, or sports coaching is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with a passion for teaching exercise routines in a supportive environment.
