A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

Job Description
$20-$25/hour DOQ, 1 hour class offering initially; Thurs 4:30-5:30p starting 9/3/26. However, open to possible additional day/hours based on applicant. Benefits include free individual fitness center pass, free individual pool pass, 25% off programs; certain restrictions apply. Under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, the Instructor is responsible for designing and providing group fitness classes that prioritize foundational movement patterns (squats, hinges, pushes, pulls), joint stability, and progressive overload, while adapting training to a client's menstrual cycle, pregnancy, or menopausal stages
