A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

For the right person, this position can become the beginning of a long-term career with LadyStrong. As we grow, we expect to create additional full-time coaching, personal-training, leadership and operational opportunities. We invest heavily in developing our team, but we are looking for someone who is equally invested in developing themselves. What You'll Do Lead safe, engaging and high-energy group strength-training sessions. Coach proper exercise form, technique and modifications. Motivate members while meeting them at their individual ability levels. Learn our LadyStrong programming, coaching standards and member experience. Build genuine relationships with members and help them remain consistent. Assist members with goal setting, progress and accountability. Help maintain a clean, organized and welcoming studio environment. Participate in team training, meetings and professional development. Represent LadyStrong professionally inside and outside the studio. Be open to taking on additional coaching, training or leadership responsibilities as the company grows. Highly dependable, punctual and prepared. Coachable and eager to receive feedback. Comfortable correcting form and adapting exercises when needed. Required Qualifications Current personal-training or group-fitness certification from a nationally recognized organization such as NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA or a comparable provider. Current CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain it before coaching independently. A strong understanding of strength-training fundamentals and exercise form. Reliable transportation to our Schaumburg studio. Consistent availability for an ongoing schedule. Willingness to complete LadyStrong's paid training and coaching-development process. At least one year of coaching or personal-training experience is preferred. However, we are willing to consider a newer coach who demonstrates exceptional potential, professionalism, energy and commitment. What We Offer Approximately 15-20 hours per week.
