Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Yoga Instructor to inspire and guide individuals on their wellness journey. In this role, you will lead engaging yoga classes that promote physical health, mental clarity, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help participants improve flexibility, strength, and mindfulness while fostering a welcoming and motivating environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love for yoga and fitness with a diverse community of enthusiasts. Responsibilities Design and deliver dynamic yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, emphasizing proper body mechanics and safety. Incorporate knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure effective and safe practice for all participants. Motivate students through clear instruction, positive reinforcement, and personalized feedback. Adapt class formats to include styles such as Vinyasa, Hatha, Power Yoga, or restorative sessions based on participant needs. Maintain a clean, organized studio environment and ensure all equipment is properly set up before classes. Promote health club memberships and fitness programs by engaging with participants about additional services like Pilates, CrossFit, or personal training. Stay current with industry trends in group fitness, sports coaching, and wellness practices to continuously enhance class offerings. Experience Proven experience teaching yoga classes in a gym or health club setting. Strong knowledge of body mechanics, physiology, and anatomy relevant to yoga practice. Familiarity with program design for diverse populations including beginners and advanced practitioners. Experience integrating other fitness disciplines such as Pilates, dancing, cycling, or sports coaching into class routines is a plus. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate groups and individuals alike. Knowledge of fitness sales techniques to promote memberships and additional services effectively. Certifications in Yoga instruction from accredited organizations are required; additional certifications in group fitness or personal training are advantageous.
