The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness and wellness, with the ability to engage and motivate participants in various classes. The Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in a supportive environment, ensuring that all participants achieve their fitness goals while promoting health and well-being. Duties Lead engaging and effective fitness classes, including but not limited to kickboxing, cycling, yoga, Pilates, and group fitness sessions. Develop and implement program designs tailored to the needs of diverse participants. Provide instruction on body mechanics and anatomy to enhance understanding of movements and techniques. Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and progression among members. Conduct assessments to evaluate individual fitness levels and provide personalized recommendations. Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness, health, and wellness to continually improve class offerings. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to promote health club events and initiatives. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all participants during classes. Skills Proficient knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics as they relate to fitness training. Experience in teaching various fitness disciplines such as kickboxing, CrossFit, cycling, yoga, Pilates, dancing, or sports coaching. Strong program design skills to create effective workout plans for individuals or groups. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Background in personal training or fitness sales is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a gym or health club setting while fostering community engagement among members.
