Job Description

Fitness Coach | Group Fitness Coach | Community Ambassador At Anytime Fitness St. John, we're looking for more than just a personal trainer. We're looking for someone who can motivate a room, build genuine relationships, create engaging content, and become one of the faces of our gym. If you're passionate about fitness, love connecting with people, and want to make a real impact in your community, we'd love to meet you. Whether you're an experienced trainer or someone with exceptional people skills who's eager to grow, we're looking for the right attitude, energy, and leadership. What You'll Do As a coach, you'll play a key role in creating an incredible member experience through:
  • One-on-one personal training
  • Small group training
  • Fitness consultations and goal setting
  • Accountability coaching
  • Building long-term relationships that keep members motivated and successful Every day is different.
One hour you may be coaching a high-energy strength class, and the next you could be helping a member in their 70s improve balance, mobility, and confidence. If you enjoy helping people at every stage of their fitness journey, you'll fit right in. More Than a Coach Today's fitness professionals do more than coach workouts — they're leaders, motivators, educators, and the face of their community. As part of our team, you'll have opportunities to:
  • Create fun fitness content for social media
  • Film workout tips and educational videos
  • Celebrate member success stories
  • Help represent our club online and in the community
  • Lead energetic group training sessions
  • Build relationships that extend beyond the gym floor If you enjoy being on camera, creating content, and inspiring others through fitness, you'll have the opportunity to grow your personal brand while helping grow ours.
Group Coaching One of the biggest parts of this position is coaching energetic, engaging small-group training sessions. We're looking for someone who can command a room, motivate people of all fitness levels, and make every workout the highlight of someone's day. Experience leading group fitness classes is highly preferred. Who You'll Coach Our members come from every background, including busy professionals, beginners, athletes, adults over 55, and members recovering from injuries or returning to exercise. Experience with corrective exercise, mobility training, or coaching older adults is highly valued. Why Coaches Join Our Team

  • Comfortable creating engaging fitness content on social media Don't meet every qualification? If you have great energy, a strong personality, and a solid work ethic, we'd still love to meet you. Compensation
  • Competitive base hourly pay
  • Personal training session pay
  • Group training compensation
  • Opportunities for advancement as your client base grows This Probably Isn't the Right Fit If...
  • You expect clients to simply be handed to you

  • You're uncomfortable leading groups
  • Yo aren't interested in continuous learning
  • You're looking for a job where you just clock in and out Our Culture We care more about people than reps.
We're building a community where every member feels welcomed, encouraged, and challenged to become the healthiest version of themselves.
