Personal Fitness Trainer

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions tailored to individual client goals and fitness levels. Design and implement comprehensive, personalized training programs incorporating a variety of exercises and techniques. Lead group fitness classes and workshops for members of varying ages and skill levels. Perform fitness assessments and track client progress; modify programs as needed to ensure continued improvement and injury prevention. Education clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, nutrition, and overall wellness strategies. Provide ongoing motivation, support, and accountability to clients, fostering a positive and engaging training experience. Assist members with proper use of fitness equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Promote personal training and fitness services through effective communication and relationship building. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness environment, including proper sanitation and equipment upkeep. Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and continuing education opportunities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Must have basic computer skills including ability to use Microsoft Office Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred Personal Training Certification from ACSM, NSCA, ACE or

NASM TIP

(Titleist Performance Institute) Certification preferred Knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and nutrition principles.

CPR & AED

Certification (Instructor Preferred)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS - ABILITY TO

Ability to grasp, lift, carry or transport up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk frequently; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to perform the duties of this job while exposed to outside weather conditions. Ability to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word accurately, loudly and quickly. The Personal Fitness Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality fitness instruction and personalized training services to club members. This role focuses on helping members achieve their health and wellness goals through customized programs, education, and ongoing support, while fostering a safe, motivating, and professional fitness environment. Due to the cyclical nature of our industry, Club Employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Club. Upon employment, all associates are required to fully comply with the company's rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of the facilities.
