Meat Clerk/Customer Service

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Customer Service/Meat Associate to join our team. As a Customer Service/Meat Associate, your responsibility will be to float between front and back of retail store, working behind meat counter, assisting butchers with packing, labeling, restocking, and helping customers. This role requires excellent customer service skills, time management skills, attention to detail, ability to work around raw meats in a fast-paced production environment. Duties Prepares and packages products for meat cases using established standards and to customer specifications. Stocks and restocks meat cases, preparing and filling orders as needed. Follows and supports Butchers instructions as directed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the carving station and surrounding areas. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and assisting with special requests. Utilize basic math skills for portioning and pricing meat products accurately. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards at all times. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a food service environment, such as a café, restaurant, grocery store, or quick-service fast food . Service oriented, friendly, approachable, willingness to learn. Communication skills, including active listening. Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Basic math skills for accurate pricing and portioning of meat products. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Knowledge of retail math is a plus but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for cooking and knowledge of various meat cuts is advantageous. Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per week
