Redefined is a small studio dedicated to the authentic practice of classical Pilates as developed by Joseph H. Pilates, taught through the Classical Pilates Method and a contemporary, anatomy-informed lens. We're a warm, inclusive community where clients of every background and ability can experience the physical and mental benefits of precise, mindful movement. We're not a department within a larger organization — we're one team, working together for the best possible outcomes for our clients. In this role you'll teach classical Pilates on both Reformer and mat, guiding a diverse clientele from beginner through advanced with expertise and care, while upholding the integrity of the method in every session. This is an opportunity to grow within a collaborative, client-centered studio where your expertise, integrity, and passion for classical Pilates are genuinely valued. Responsibilities Teach classical Pilates mat and apparatus sessions — including Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel — in both group and private formats. Design and adapt individualized programs for clients of all levels, including rehabilitation and prenatal populations where you hold the applicable certifications. Conduct thorough client intake assessments, establish measurable goals, and track client progress over time. Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records and detailed session notes. Uphold and promote classical Pilates principles rooted in the Joseph Pilates tradition, preserving the integrity of the method. Participate in studio events, workshops, and continuing education. Keep all apparatus and equipment clean, organized, and safely operated. Collaborate with the team on scheduling, programming, and client communication. Qualifications Completion of a comprehensive classical Pilates teacher training program (minimum 600 hours preferred) recognized within the classical lineage — e.g., Romana's Pilates, Pilates Elder-based programs, or equivalent. Current CPR / First Aid certification, maintained throughout employment. Minimum of 1-2 years of professional Pilates teaching experience. Strong working knowledge of classical Pilates apparatus and the full classical repertoire across levels. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship skills. Availability for a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
