Personal Trainer
Job Description
Are you looking to be part of a team? Join Nesfield Performance. We are seeking a professional, certified personal trainer to join our team of wellness professionals. We are looking for a personal trainer to provide training in our location in Chevy Chase, virtually or in the client's home. Trainers must be self-motivated with a passion to continue learning their craft to benefit themselves and their clients. Candidates must be seeking a long-term commitment. Candidates should love teaching and encouraging their clients to live a healthier lifestyle. They must have a friendly, energetic, engaging personality and take genuine interest in the health and well-being of their clients. Candidates must have an extraordinary work ethic. They must be a focused, confident, and centered individual who can commit to a steady, busy schedule and growing environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in personal training/strength and conditioning field. Personal trainer certification from an accredited program from one of these organizations
NSCA/NASM/ACE/ACSM.
Has two additional (nationally recognized) certifications (pre/ post-natal, KB, TRX, NKT, USAW, PN (1,2). Strong knowledge in the proper functioning and use of various exercise equipment. Experience coaching in both a 1-on-1 and group environment.
Analytical and tech savvy:
MS Word, MS Excel, Strength Portal, Wellness Living or equivalent. Show proof of COVID vaccine in past 8 months CPR/First Aid Certified. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment. Reliable transportation. Extremely reliable and committed to being on time and consistent with scheduled appointments.
Ideal Applicant:
10+ years of experience in personal training/strength and conditioning field. Thorough combined knowledge of at least three of the following: women health, injury prevention & post rehab recovery; disease prevention & management; special conditions & limitations; high level sports performance; as well as senior population. Self motivated, independent, and willing to grow in an emerging company. Passionate about the health and wellness industry and encompasses the lifestyle. A certified nutritional coach. A certified massage therapist. Certified in FMS, NKT, DNS, or FRC. Able to drive and has access to a car for transportation to our location and client's home. Willing to work flexible hours, full-time position. Able to contribute substance and value to a growing company through social media marketing, product, and service development. Create excellent experience for clients, including accepting feedback and comments with openness and a desire to exceed expectations. Generate new training clientele through member referral and marketing in conjunction with the company. Promote the health and wellness benefits of training and all company services to clients. Create and implement safe, cohesive, and well-designed programs. Perform fitness assessments. Work as a team to provide clients with the best service possible. Attend weekly staff meetings, contributing to the company's growth. Maintain cleanliness of the training room or any training space used. Other related tasks associated with a small, growing wellness business. Compensation will be commensurate with skills and experience, but dependent on ambition and desire to see clients - significant income potential for a motivated trainer. We will provide trainers with clients but full-time based on ability to bring in clients.

$55,000+ base per year + monthly bonus (minimum 20+ sessions a week)
