Job Description

Job description Overview We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Personal Trainer to join our dynamic fitness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness, along with the ability to inspire and guide clients in achieving their fitness goals. This role involves creating personalized training programs, providing instruction on proper exercise techniques, and fostering a supportive environment that encourages clients to reach their full potential. Duties Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' fitness levels, goals, and any physical limitations. Design and implement customized training programs tailored to individual client needs. Instruct clients on proper exercise techniques and body mechanics to ensure safety and effectiveness. Monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement. Provide motivation and support to clients during workouts, fostering a positive training environment. Educate clients on nutrition, lifestyle changes, and overall wellness strategies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the training area and equipment. Promote personal training services within the health club to attract new clients. Collaborate with other fitness professionals for group fitness classes or workshops. Requirements Certification in Personal Training from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA). Strong knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and program design principles. Experience in gym environments or health clubs is preferred. Background in physical education or sports coaching is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate others. Sales skills are advantageous for promoting personal training services. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
