Personal Trainer
Job Description
Anytime Fitness Kensington is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable personal trainer to join our coaching team in a part-time role focused primarily on evening and weekend availability. This is a great fit for a coach who wants to build experience, grow a client base, and be part of a collaborative team that pushes each other to improve. The role will include a mix of 1:1 personal training, small-group training, Team Training, and fitness consultations. Schedule Approximately 10-15 hours per week to start Primarily weekday evenings and weekends Additional hours may become available as the coaching book grows What we offer Competitive compensation with multiple ways to earn 1:1 personal training commission Small-group training compensation that increases with attendance Team Training pay based on session attendance Paid fitness consultations Membership sales commission opportunities Growth opportunities for coaches who want to take on additional responsibility Continuing education and professional-development opportunities Complimentary Anytime Fitness membership and access to participating clubs worldwide Collaborative team environment with experienced coaches and engaged members Discounts on massage and other club services What we're looking for Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with a wide range of members Passionate about helping people improve their health, strength, and confidence Comfortable coaching both 1:1 and small groups of 2-4 people Punctual, organized, coachable, and willing to learn Able to communicate clearly with clients and teammates Comfortable using scheduling, CRM, and fitness-programming software Able to work independently while also contributing to a team environment Consistent availability during weekday evenings and at least one weekend day Active personal training certification from a nationally recognized organization such as NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE, or NCSF, or ability to obtain one within 30 days Bonus qualifications Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field Group fitness or small-group coaching experience Experience working with general-population clients Sales, customer-service, or fitness-consultation experience Responsibilities Coach clients through safe, effective, individualized workouts Lead small-group sessions while adapting exercises to different ability levels Conduct fitness consultations and help members identify the right coaching option Maintain communication with clients between sessions Help create a welcoming, professional training environment Assist with basic club operations and member-service needs when appropriate Participate in staff meetings, training, and community events Work collaboratively with the coaching and membership team
Pay:
$17.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 15.0 per weekBenefits:
