Provide personal training to those members who purchase additional servicesProvide excellent customer service to the community by seeing that all customers, clients and members are given prompt and courteous servicesBuild relationships with a variety of members and assist them helping them meet their fitness and wellness goalsProvide orientation for new membersPerform fitness assessmentsProvide follow-up to personal training customers when appropriateTeach a variety of classes based on experience and specialtiesCommunicate effectively with participants, staff and supervisors regarding concerns, schedules, and feedbackImplement safety measures for personal training service to ensure the health and safety of membersAssist members during workouts with proper use of equipment, proper form and safety guidelinesEnsure that the fitness area is always presentable by assisting with cleaning and maintenanceReport on all equipment, fitness and gym area problems to the Health and Wellness ManagerEnforce all rules that pertain to the fitness and exercise areas consistentlyAdhere to RJKCCC operations as well as all policy procedures as adopted by the AdministrationProvide supervision when the Health and Wellness Manager is not on siteMust work at least 2 shifts per weekPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency with a degree in fitness, exercise science, athletic training, physical therapy, exercise physiology or other related areas is preferredPrior personal training experience is preferredMust be at least 18 years oldMust have personal training certification by a national accredited organization such as ACSM, NSCA, ACE or AFAAAble to design high-quality, up-to-date, scientifically sound, safe and effective fitness programs for a variety of member goals and needs
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
Be able to read, write and communicate in English with the preferred ability to also communicate in SpanishAble to function effectively with minimal or no supervisionMaintain strict confidentiality
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365Working knowledge of
TEAMS and SharePoint Certificates and Licenses:
Have CPR/AED/First Aid certification or obtain within 45 days.
