There may be opportunities to coach additional classes. Join our dynamic fitness team as a Group Fitness Coach and inspire members to achieve their health and wellness goals through engaging, energetic, and expertly led group exercise classes. In this role, you will deliver a variety of fitness programs, motivate participants, and foster a positive environment that encourages personal growth and community spirit. Responsibilities Lead group fitness classes particularly CrossFit style classes. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure participants perform movements safely to prevent injury. Motivate members through positive coaching, constructive feedback, and energetic communication to maximize engagement and results. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid and AED operation when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing participant questions, offering personalized advice, and fostering a welcoming community atmosphere. Qualifications Proven experience in leading group fitness classes. Certifications in relevant areas such as CPR/AED first aid, group fitness instruction (e.g., ACE, NASM), yoga instructor certification, Pilates certification, or CrossFit coaching are highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to motivate diverse groups of participants while maintaining safety standards. Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach to client interaction and coaching. Physical fitness training experience with the ability to perform heavy lifting and demonstrate exercises effectively. Knowledge of manual handling techniques and safe gym practices. Previous experience working in health clubs or fitness environments is preferred but not mandatory.
