You'll help members use equipment correctly, watch for safety issues, and be ready to respond if something goes wrong. This is a paid, entry-level role with room to grow within the Y. We are currently hiring for the closing shift and weekends. Duties Greet members and provide good customer service Monitor the wellness floor for safety and correct equipment use Help members set up equipment Set up equipment for group fitness classes as needed Perform safety checks Respond to emergencies Talk with prospective members about fitness programs and membership options Keep the wellness floor clean and report maintenance or safety issues Skills First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required within 30 days of hire Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with a wide range of people Able to lift and handle equipment safely in a busy environment Gym/health club experience or a physical education background is a plus

Pay:

From $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
