Group Fitness Instructor

Provide group fitness instruction during periods when student instructors are unavailable (e.g., academic breaks, summer) Fill schedule gaps in the student staffing pool to ensure consistent program delivery Offer continuity and experienced leadership to maintain high program quality Supplement instruction in specialized formats or time slots difficult to staff with student employees Minimum Education/Experience Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification and blood-borne pathogens training within 60 days of hire Demonstrated competency in leading group exercise activities in land-based and aquatic environments NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) accredited and/or specialty (LesMills™, Zumba®, etc) group fitness certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation None Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education None License or Certification Required by the Department Special Instructions to Applicant East Carolina University requires applicants to submit a candidate profile online in order to be considered for the position.
