Job Summary:
Katz JCC Pilates instructors provide high quality and safe Pilates instruction to multiple participants in a class setting. They are responsible for providing a positive, educational, and supportive atmosphere for their classes.Job Responsibilities:
Instruction:
Lead group and private Pilates Reformer sessions, ensuring safe and effective workouts for all clients.Provide modifications and progressions to accommodate different fitness levels and individual needs.

Client Engagement:
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.Assess clients' fitness levels, goals, and any medical considerations to tailor sessions appropriately.
Offer encouragement and constructive feedback to help clients improve their skills and achieve their goals.
Actively recruits new Pilates clients.
Studio Maintenance:
Ensure all equipment is clean, properly set up, and maintained.Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the Pilates Program Coordinator promptly.
Assist with general studio upkeep and organization.

Professional Development:
Stay current with industry trends, continuing education, and certification requirements.Attend regular team meetings and training sessions.

Pilates Program CoordinatorRequired Licenses/ Certificates/Registrations:
Certified Pilates Instructor with a specialization in Pilates. Comprehensive certification from nationally recognized Pilates organization preferred.Group Fitness Experience minimum 1 year- PreferredCPR and AED certification required.
Required Education & Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years in a Pilates studio or fitness settingStrong understanding of human anatomy & biomechanicsAbility to motivate and inspire clientsEEO Statement:
