Overview Join our dynamic team as a Stretch/Recovery Instructor, where you'll inspire and guide clients through specialized stretching and recovery techniques designed to enhance flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and optimize overall performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for fitness, biomechanics, and client wellness in a vibrant environment dedicated to health and vitality. As a key member of our fitness community, you will deliver personalized recovery programs that empower clients to achieve their physical best while fostering a motivating and supportive atmosphere. Duties Lead engaging stretching and recovery sessions tailored to individual client needs, focusing on biomechanics, body mechanics, and physiology principles. Design personalized workout and recovery plans that incorporate manual handling techniques, heavy lifting safety, and injury prevention strategies. Educate clients on proper body mechanics, nutrition basics, and the importance of recovery for overall health and athletic performance. Monitor client progress through regular assessments, adjusting programs as needed to ensure optimal results. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid protocols, CPR/AED operation standards, and liability insurance requirements. Build strong rapport with clients through effective communication, motivational coaching, and exceptional customer service. Promote fitness services and programs to enhance client engagement and retention while supporting sales initiatives related to recovery therapies. Experience Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction with a focus on biomechanics or physiotherapy is highly desirable. Demonstrated background in personal training, coaching, or physical education with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics. Hands-on experience teaching physical education or leading fitness classes that involve manual handling or heavy lifting techniques. Certification in first aid, CPR/AED operation, and liability insurance is required; additional certifications in sports science, nutrition, or fitness sales are advantageous. Familiarity with gym operations, health club environments, or fitness industry standards enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to motivate diverse clients are essential for building lasting client relationships. Prior experience creating customized workout plans and delivering motivational coaching will set you apart as a leader in recovery-focused fitness programs.
