Job Description

New Jersey Athletic Club (NJAC) is seeking an energetic, motivated, and member-focused Certified Personal Trainer to join our dynamic fitness team. If you're passionate about helping people achieve meaningful results and building lasting client relationships, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Deliver safe, personalized, and engaging training programs based on each client's goals, needs, and abilities. Build and maintain a strong client base through exceptional coaching, relationship-building, and new business development. Conduct fitness assessments and educate members on exercise, equipment, movement, and healthy lifestyle habits. Coach proper technique, track progress, and adapt programs to help clients achieve results. Partner with the membership and fitness teams to engage new members and introduce them to personal training. Maintain a professional, welcoming, and clean training environment. Work toward established personal training session and revenue goals. What You Bring Current certification from a nationally recognized personal training organization. Current CPR/AED certification. Strong communication, coaching, sales, and customer service skills. Experience creating and delivering individualized fitness programs. A passion for staying at the forefront of the evolving fitness industry—continuously learning about emerging programs, equipment, training methodologies, industry leaders, and fitness trends. Fitness-related college degree preferred; relevant certifications and experience considered.
Pay:
From $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
