Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor to join our growing studio Align Pilates in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. In this role, you will lead private and semi-private sessions, helping clients progress toward their fitness and wellness goals in a safe, professional, and supportive environment.

Qualifications:
Align Pilates values instructors who take pride in the client experience, create a welcoming and supportive space, and approach teaching with care and expertise. We are searching for someone who naturally takes initiative, communicates clearly, and consistently shows up with focus and professionalism. If you thrive on personal interactions and are passionate about supporting clients in their growth, you might be an excellent fit for Align Pilates. Comprehensive Pilates Certification from Balanced Body, STOTT Pilates, Peak Pilates, or similar training 2+ years of teaching private and semi-private sessions preferred Availability to teach 10 hours per week, which may include weekday mornings, one evening per week, and Saturday mornings (8-12pm), with opportunity to expand hours. Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, create a supportive studio environment, and assist clients with scheduling and purchases Ongoing personal practice and study of movement modalities (e.g., fitness, yoga, Pilates, dance, etc.) CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring)

$38.00 - $55.00 per hour
License/Certification:
Comprehensive Pilates Certification on Pilates Apparatus (Preferred)
