In this dynamic role, you will lead engaging yoga classes tailored to diverse skill levels, fostering a supportive environment that promotes physical well-being, mental clarity, and inner balance. Your expertise will help clients achieve their fitness goals while experiencing the holistic benefits of yoga practice. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge, motivate others, and grow within a thriving fitness environment. We're looking for a teacher who is open to a 1099 position teaching at least one or two classes a week, teaching Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative Stretch or Power Yoga. Responsibilities Lead group yoga classes with enthusiasm, ensuring proper technique and alignment to maximize safety and effectiveness Demonstrate yoga poses and routines clearly, providing modifications for different abilities and needs Monitor participants' progress, offering motivational coaching and personalized feedback to enhance their experience Maintain a safe class environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures Foster positive client relationships through effective communication, encouraging ongoing participation and engagement Stay current with industry trends in yoga instruction, biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and fitness program design to continually improve class offerings Qualifications Certified Yoga Instructor with recognized credentials from an accredited organization Proven experience teaching group fitness classes, especially yoga or Pilates instruction Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and body mechanics relevant to yoga practice Additional certifications in fitness disciplines such as Pilates, Barre, or dance are a plus Familiarity with health club operations, gym equipment use, manual handling techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and connect with diverse client populations Current CPR and AED certification required; First aid certification preferred Passion for health, wellness, and fitness industry trends with a commitment to professional development Pay rate is based of years of experience and amount of certifications the instructor holds Embark on a rewarding journey helping others achieve their wellness goals through mindful movement.
