Description An exciting opportunity to join the team of a progressive YMCA located in vibrant Somerset County, New Jersey. To learn more about GSCY, visit our website: http://gscymca.org Demonstrates, instructs, and monitors clientele's use of cardio, strength, and flexibility equipment to ensure safety Actively role models and assists all YMCA members with safe use of equipment and workout tips to encourage new sales of personal training packages Promotes and sells personal training packages and consistently seeks to grow their clientele base Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan including the electronic logging and reconciliation of training packages in our system Appointment King (will train) Renews personal training certification regularly, seeks to remain relevant in training programs, and maintains a personal fitness brand that role models full body wellness Ensures all members feel competent, welcomed, included, and connected by providing superior member service Assesses clientele goals, medical history, and current fitness status and self develops relevant training programs that help clients reach their unique goals that you help them set. This job is fully on-site, not remote. Requirements Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent (formal education in Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, or Kinesiology preferred) Must actively workout and maintain your own fitness program Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NCSF, etc.)
CPR/FA/AED
