Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and visionary Director of Personal Training specializing in Functional Fitness to lead our dynamic team of fitness professionals. Duties Lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge functional fitness training programs tailored to diverse member needs Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of personal trainers and group fitness instructors specializing in functional movement and sports coaching Oversee daily operations of the personal training department to ensure high-quality service delivery and member satisfaction Conduct regular staff performance evaluations, provide ongoing education on physiology, body mechanics, anatomy, and program design best practices Collaborate with sales teams to promote personal training services and increase membership engagement through targeted fitness sales strategies Stay current with industry trends in health club and gym environments to continually enhance program offerings and trainer certifications Foster a positive, energetic environment that encourages continuous learning, teamwork, and professional growth among staff Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain accurate records of training sessions, progress tracking, and member assessments Qualifications Proven experience in personal training with a strong background in physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design Demonstrated expertise in functional fitness concepts and sports coaching techniques Prior leadership experience managing a team within a health club or gym setting Excellent teaching skills with the ability to educate clients on proper form, injury prevention, and effective workout strategies Strong sales acumen with experience in fitness sales or membership promotion Knowledge of group fitness instruction and physical education principles is highly desirable Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse audiences and foster a team-oriented atmosphere Certification in personal training (e.g., NASM, ACE) or equivalent credentials preferred Join us as we empower individuals to unlock their full potential through innovative functional fitness programs!
