Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Certified Yoga Instructor to lead engaging hot yoga classes that inspire and motivate participants of all levels. In this role, you will design and deliver dynamic yoga routines, foster a welcoming environment, and promote overall wellness through expert guidance. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help clients achieve their fitness goals, improve flexibility, and enhance mental clarity. Responsibilities Lead group hot yoga classes with clear demonstrations and practice instructions, ensuring proper technique and safety. Develop tailored yoga programs that cater to different skill levels, focusing on flexibility, strength, and relaxation. Motivate participants by providing personalized coaching, encouragement, and constructive feedback throughout sessions. Maintain a safe environment by monitoring body mechanics, biomechanics, and physical fitness training principles during classes. Educate clients on anatomy knowledge, physiology, and body mechanics to enhance their understanding of movement and injury prevention. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards by practicing manual handling techniques and operating AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) when necessary. Promote fitness industry best practices by participating in ongoing training, certifications (such as CPR), and professional development activities. Requirements Certification as a Yoga Instructor from an accredited program; additional certifications in Pilates instruction or other disciplines are a plus. Proven experience teaching group fitness classes with strong demonstration and coaching skills. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to yoga instruction. Demonstrated ability to motivate clients through motivational fitness coaching and excellent client communication skills. Familiarity with health club operations, gym experience, or hot yoga experience preferred. Current certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, AED operation, and safety procedures required for client safety management.
