Responsibilities Lead high-energy group fitness classes such as cardio, strength training, yoga, Pilates, cycling, dance, and specialized programs like CrossFit or kickboxing. Design and adapt class programs to suit different skill levels and ensure safety and effectiveness. Demonstrate proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and physiological principles to maximize results and prevent injuries. Motivate participants through enthusiastic instruction, positive reinforcement, and clear communication. Maintain a safe environment by monitoring participants' form and providing modifications as needed. Promote upcoming classes and fitness programs to encourage member participation and retention. Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices in group fitness instruction. Requirements Proven experience in leading group fitness classes across various formats such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, dancing, or sports coaching. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design principles. Certifications in relevant areas such as group fitness instruction, personal training, or specialized disciplines like CrossFit or Pilates are highly preferred. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants. Familiarity with gym equipment and safety protocols within a health club environment. Passion for health and wellness with a proactive attitude toward continuous learning. Ability to create an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all fitness levels. $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
