In this role, you will lead engaging Pilates Reformer classes designed to improve flexibility, strength, and overall body awareness. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire clients of all levels to achieve their fitness goals while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your passion for fitness and help clients transform their bodies through innovative reformer exercises. Responsibilities Teach small group Pilates Reformer classes, explain proper technique and form to ensure safety and effectiveness Design and modify workout routines tailored to diverse client needs, fitness levels, and goals Provide clear instructions and hands-on guidance during exercises, including demonstration and practice sessions Monitor clients' progress, offering motivational coaching and personalized feedback Educate clients on body mechanics, biomechanics, physiology, and anatomy relevant to Pilates practice Support the promotion of classes through excellent customer service, encouraging participation and retention Ability to arrive 15 minutes early to open studio and greet members if necessary Requirements Proven experience in Pilates instruction, with certification in Pilates Reformer training preferred Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics essential for effective coaching Strong small group fitness teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse audiences Excellent communication skills with a focus on client engagement to create an inclusive community Teach one or more evenings per week Weekend availability a plus 2-10 hours per week based on availability Join us if you're passionate about inspiring others to find movement that feels great in their body!
