A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

$20.00/hour - $23.00/hour
POSITION SUMMARY
The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hiring for a Group Fitness Instructor and we are excited to have you join our team! This position supports and works to advance the mission of the Y in Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility through leading and instructing group fitness classes. Plans and prepares safe and effective class formats in order to lead and instruct quality classes in a welcoming environment.

Holds a current nationally recognized group fitness certification/license as approved by the Association Group Exercise Director. Prior experience in group fitness instruction preferred.
