CAPS FC | Valley View, Ohio Part-Time / Seasonal Position November 2, 2026 - June 8, 2027 CAPS FC is seeking a knowledgeable and energetic Soccer-Specific Performance Trainer to work with our competitive youth soccer players throughout the 2026-2027 season. This position is ideal for a trainer who understands the physical demands of soccer and can develop age-appropriate training sessions designed to improve athletic performance while complementing the technical and tactical training players receive from their CAPS FC coaches. Schedule & Commitment Twice per week Approximately 2-2.5 hours per training day November 2, 2026 through June 8, 2027 Training will take place at CAPS Fieldhouse in Valley View, Ohio Responsibilities The Soccer-Specific Performance Trainer will: Plan and lead engaging performance training sessions for youth soccer players Develop soccer-specific speed, agility, strength, balance, coordination and explosiveness Incorporate proper movement mechanics and injury-prevention strategies Adjust exercises appropriately for different ages and ability levels Create sessions that translate directly to improved performance on the soccer field Maintain a positive, energetic and development-focused training environment Communicate and collaborate with CAPS FC coaching staff regarding player development Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has experience in strength and conditioning, athletic performance, personal training, physical education, or a related field Has experience working with youth athletes Understands the physical demands and movement patterns of soccer Is dependable, organized and comfortable leading large groups Brings energy and enthusiasm to training sessions Can challenge competitive athletes while maintaining a positive environment Soccer coaching or playing experience is a plus. Relevant performance training, strength and conditioning, or fitness certifications are also preferred. Interested in Joining CAPS FC?
